Rival Crock Pot Reduces Stress and Stretches Food Budget

For the benefit of those who doesn’t know what a crock pot is, let me define the word itself. A crock pot also known as a slow cooker is a pot that slowly cooks food on your counter rather than on the stove. The pot is electric that you can just plug in with its A/C cord and has a vented lid but no temperature controls aside from a high and low setting. The rival crock pot gradually increases over the long cooking period and turns off automatically. The rival crock pot is designed to cook unattended so that you can add ingredients to the pot in the morning before work then come home eight to ten hours later to a perfectly cooked meal.

A rival crock pot never needs pre-heating and meals cooked in a rival crock pot retain their tenderness, juices and flavors because of the design and slow cooking method.

Rival crock pot use wrap around heat to cook evenly without heat spots or food neither sticking to the bottom so no supervision is needed nor stirring the food. You can either choose the temperature to a low or high temperature depending on what kind of meal you are cooking. By setting the rival crock pot to low temperature your rival crock pot will quietly simmer away and produce enough tender and tasty flavor to the meal.

A basic slow cooker consists of a lidded round or oval cooking pot made of glazed ceramic or porcelain surrounded by metal containing an electric heating element. The lid is often made of glass seated in a groove in the pot edge to collect condensed vapor that provides a low pressure to the atmosphere. The rival crock pot’s contents are effectively at atmospheric pressure despite the generated water vapor in it. If you may ask, let me tell you this now that a rival crock pot is not the same as a pressure cooker.

The rival crock pot acts as both cooking container and a heat reservoir. A recommended liquid level is needed, capacities from 500ml to 7liters to avoid uncontrolled heating. If your food isn’t done after 8 hrs when the recipe calls for 8hrs or 10 hrs there must be something wrong with the rival crock pot. This could be due to voltage variations which are common everywhere and could be due to altitude or even extreme humidity. The slight fluctuations in power do not usually have a noticeable effect on most appliances however it can slightly after cooking. Take a look at your meal it might have been overcooked or undercooked.

Owning a rival crock pot definitely helps you stretch your food budget and reduces stress in the kitchen. There is nothing better than coming home at the end of the day knowing that when you walk in your door steps the best part of the meal preparations is complete. The rival crock pot lets you spend more time with the family in the evening and enjoy the delicious, healthy, great taste cooked meal you prepared for them. Rival crock pot lets you save on your electric bill too because when you set the pot on low temperature it only consumes less than 80 watts and on a high temperature it is only about 150 watts.
